Good Rules of Thumb and Rules for PVP in this RP Server
All conflicts regarding players must be done with level heads and using IC information. Do not engage in PVP just because you are upset with a situation unfolding for your character or to other characters. If you are worried that something happened to your character and was unfair to you or others, please reach out and make a ticket, take screenshots and provide evidence to show. If the conflict stems from outside IC interaction, either discuss outside in OOC channels first to hash out whatever issues. If it cannot be resolved civil-like, then bring it to the HR Ticket. Anything regarding death, dismemberment, disfigurement, etc must be discussed prior to engaging in PVP. Both parties must agree with the rules and what is at stake after combat is resolved before combat can be initiated. If nothing is agreed upon, then no PVP is to take place or cannot be enforced. Consent is key to all results. If a player hits 0 HP, they are considered knocked unconscious and not considered dead. They are wounded and out of combat until they are retrieved from battle and retreated to safety to heal, or healed on the spot. Only way a player is to die is if they agree to do so and consent to their character’s death. Take the results of a finished combat in stride and do not complain if you lose nor brag about winning to other players OOC. In the end, we all want to make and create stories. This is not a place to brag about winning against an opponent or complain about losing. Consider the loss a good point for building a story. Such as Richard’s character losing a limb but given mercy by his opponent. Have them question why they were given this mercy and an opportunity to reflect on their failure of the lost limb. If there are some questions or concerns about a particular result or roll, log/screenshot the roll or results and log a ticket. If there is evidence of cheating or fudging a roll, we will do what we can to reverse or correct the issue.
